During the 8th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), Premier Wen Jiabao and Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak witnessed the signing of the cooperation document on CMQIP and unveiled the plaque for CMQIP.

The CMQIP project was officially approved by the State Council and identified as an inter-governmental project between the two countries .

Premier Wen Jiabao and Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak attended the CMQIP official launching ceremony and laid the foundation stone.

Chairman Jia Qinglin of the CPPCC National Committee and Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak attended the MCKIP official launching ceremony, introducing a new model of"wo countries, twin parks"?for China's cooperation with other countries on industrial parks.

In his meeting with Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak during a state visit to Malaysia, President Xi Jinping pointed out the need to turn CMQIP and MCKIP into flagship projects for investment cooperation between the two countries in order to boost cluster development of industries in both countries. The two leaders witnessed the signing of a series of cooperation agreements on CMQIP.

Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak on the sidelines of the 16th ASEAN-China Summit in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam and talked about the need to do a good job in building CMQIP and MCKIP.
